Big pet day out!

Children from Tokirima, Kirikau and Otunui Primary schools recently enjoyed competing in Kiwi Can ‘Pet Day’. Lambs, calves, dogs and kids were all presented and contested with a huge amount of pride and hope. The children were assessed on their relationship with their pet, (how well did it respond to their call), leading, best pet, and a feeding race to see which pet could drink 200mls of milk the quickest.

The day ended with a well deserved barbeque for all.
