Rangitikei Kiwi Can

Making Positive Me MirrorsKiwi Can welcomed the opportunity this year to deliver Kiwi Can to students from Otairi School, a small rural based one teacher school in Manawatu.  Last term, lessons focused on relationships, starting with the essentials of building self-esteem and confidence.  The children relished the chance to make Positive Me Mirrors with positive words and decorations which they took home to draw inspiration from each day.

Later in the year, Kiwi Can Rangitikei Leader Colleen plans to incorporate Otairi School with Hunterville School students for a community challenge which will involve planitng flaxes and toi toi at Vinegar Hill, a local picnic and swimming spot alongside the river Kiwi Can Rangitikeijust off S.H.1.  Kiwi Can Rangitikei has had an excellent start to the year and the Leaders are looking forward to a positive, rewarding year ahead with the children.
