The Bay of Plenty Kiwi Can Trust has been recognised for its efforts to create positive changes in over 1600 primary school children in 2007.

The Bay of Plenty Kiwi Can Trust has been recognised for its efforts to create positive changes in over 1600 primary school children in 2007.

The trust won the Educational and Child/Youth Development category at the TrustPower Community Awards, and was presented with a framed certificate and a cheque for $500.

Since introducing Kiwi Can in Tauranga in May 2006 there has been noticeable changes reported including reductions in stand downs,bullying and other bad behaviour.
