Kiwi Can King Country celebrates!

Kiwi Can is celebrating its seventh birthday in the King Country this year.

In the seven years that the programme has been running, Kiwi Can has extended to 12 schools in the region, having a positive impact on the lives of over 1,500 children every year.

An essential part of that success has been due to the continued support from the key sponsor in the region, King Country Energy.

Kit Wilson, King Country Energy General Manager says, “As an organization we have a strong community focus.  King Country Energy has been a proud supporter of Kiwi Can since 2005 and we are very please to be associated with the programme.”

Community and school activities to promote the Kiwi Can message this year have been diverse, including showcasing Kiwi Can to the community at the Great New Zealand Muster in Te Kuiti, organising rock climbing competitions and taking part in inter-school Pet Day Competitions.
